Hi Semua...

Sorry la ye, entah aku rasa terpanggil untuk cakap lagi sesuatu pasal perkara yang aku sangat prihatin.
So KIV la cerita2 makanan dan rock.

Aku harap korang luang sikit masa untuk sesuatu benda yang bermanfaat dan kita korek balik sifat CONSCIENTIOUS yang ada dalam setiap kita.

Pasal aku kan kerja shift, jadi aku sebenarnye dapat sedikit2 mengikuti kat TV saluran percuma Singapore tentang acara2 sukan Special Olympics WORLD Games yang diadakan di Los Angeles dari minggu lepas sampai hari Ahad.

Special Olympics ni ialah untuk mereka dari budak2 hingga dewasa yang ada INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES.

Aku dalam sebulan, jumlah masa aku tengok tv mungkin tak sampai 2 jam kot sebulan , jengah2 kepala gitu je kot hari aku off/rest days, cuma yang tv3 999 nye show tu yang dia raid rumah2 mat drugs kat Penang aku tengok part tu, interesting...
kalau hari kerja memang takde la,
tapi untuk Special Olympics ni aku minat...Maka aku pun mendangok depan tv, tengok...

Kita takde cable tv, baik Astro ke, Mio ke, Starhub ke semua memang takde..

So aku happy giler kalau Cenel TV Per(cuma) ada tunjuk live2 gini program2 istimewa yang tarik perhatian aku..

Aku pun tak tahu cable tv ada tunjuk tak progrem2 begini.. Kot takde iklan kot? Nyanyi2 lawak2 ok la ramai orang suka.

Maaf ye kalau tersilap, tapi rata2 Special Olympics ni untuk sesiapa yang ada Keistimewaan Minda dan Pemikiran. Jadi antara yang ambil bahagian dan bersaing ialah mereka mungkin ada Down Syndrome, Autism dan sebagainya.

Ini TAK SAMA ngan Paralympics yang lebih kepada mereka yang Istimewa dari segi FIZIKAL.

Kalau korang follow Olimpik Istimewa ni memang 177 or is it 120 Negara satu dunia ambil bahagian.
Masa pembukaan kat stadium LA yang besar tu, siap cakap kontijen Syria mula2 tak dapat permit nak masuk Amerika ok, haha. Tapi ok je, satu dunia ok ambik bahagian. Nanti aku letak video perasmian masa bawak obor tu. Siap awek Iran, budak lelaki Mongolia, semua bawak obor.
Tak silap aku Iran kasi obor kat Israel ke aku salah tengok? hehe..

Kalau negara2 miskin, ada sponsorship la.
Abis tu, participants ada kaki ayam sey, bukan pasal dorang suka lari kaki ayam, pasal seumur hidup tak pernah pakai kasut.
So ada satu participant tu dapat kasut New Balance. Warna Hijau.

Lawa pulak aku tengok kasut New Balance warna hijau satu budak afrika tu dapat..hehe. Stylo giler.

Abis tu kan, peserta2 ni siap dapat buat gigi, repair gigi, dapat buat cermin mata. Pasal dorang dari negara2 yang macam orang dari India tu satu cakap, di mana orang2 Istimewa takde peluang, tak dipandang pun.

Aku rasa ni antara lagu terbaik Avril.

Dan dia pun sekarang dah kena penyakit LYME DISEASE.

Korang tahu tak? Tak salah aku Ni penyakit mula dari kena gigit ngan kutu. Kutu yang kecik2 tu.
Jadi penyakit ni kan buat orang kena gigit tu urat saraf dan otot dia jadi lemah, dan nanti cepat penat, senang sakit2,
Susah nak detect penyakit ni. Boleh jadi masalah sepanjang hidup Lyme Disease dan boleh jadi tersangat bahaya.

AVRIL BOLEH KENA OK!!! Tu la nak jadi cerita.

Jadi lepas dia kena penyakit ni, masa pembukaan Special Olympics ni minggu lepas dia pertama buat persembahan dan nyanyi LIVE.
PERTAMA KALI DIA NYANYI LIVE LEPAS KENA PENYAKIT LYME DISEASE NI.
Memang saspens ok,

aku rasa macam gini kot nanti saspens dia bila kali pertama nanti Iron Maiden beraksi untuk tour 2016 bila Bruce Dickinson buat persembahan kerana baru baik dari rawatan Barah kat belakang lidah dan leher dia.
Aku gerenti malam pertama tour Iron Maiden ni kat mana pun, konfem sold out awal2 ngan peminat satu dunia datang nak tengok Bruce lepas sakit cancer.

Suka aku tengok participants tu semua bawak obor.. dari satu dunia... dan macam2 peserta lain2 sukan.

Cuak siot aku tengok yang ada bawak obor... haha.

Dekat ye api tu kat muka dorang...

Budak2 Melayu participate memang handal.

Aku tengok ESPN nye program, dorang tengah fokus dan cerita kat pelari dari Amerika, dorang tunjuk la Sprint Event acara tu,
orang Amerika dorang dapat pingat Gangsa je, ada satu budak Melayu dari Singapore, wahhhh laju giler siot... dapat pingat Perak.. Happy aku tengok budak melayu kalahkan omputeh2 ni semua kat tempat dorang. OK OK serious. Memang no losers la kan, semua winners tapi kalau top 3 lagi happy la kan.

Aku rasa la ramai manusia yang anggap mereka sempurna, kalau kena lumba lari ke, main ping-pong ke, main badminton ke, main apa2 sukan la ngan orang2 Special Olympics ni kan
aku rasa manusia2 yang anggap diri mereka sempurna confirm kena thrashing rabak2 nye.

OK ni sebahagian aksi dari Games kali ini...

Istimewa sangat la bukan sahaja perserta, tapi yang jadi officials, volunteers sukarelawan tu dan penyokong.

Anyway ni sukan best ok.. Semua pun menang kalah....berapa kalah teruk pun, bila bagi hadiah semua diri atas podium. Podium semua lebar2... Tiga keatas semua kategori sukan dapat medal, lain2 kalah dapat ribbon apa ntah.
Happy giler peserta...jangan cakap yang budak2 dan remaja ok, yang dewasa dah tua pun happy giler,
Boleh dapat last ke kalah ke, tapi sampai garisan penamat celebrate macam nak rak.
Tu baru sporting spirit.
Macam Arsenal la kan. hehe (eh aku belum cerita yang Barclays Cup tu hari eh? wahhh.. depan mata ok depan mata ok.... ohhh heroes2 aku haha).

Aku rasa la, lagi mulia ok aku tengok sukan cam gini dari so called mereka yang bersukan tapi menang at all cost dan terus hilang semangat kesukanan.

Anyway masa pembukaan sukan ni, TV Percuma Singapura tunjuk live telecast,
ada Stevie Wonder ok. So Stevie Wonder sebelum buat persembahan, lagi nak cakap2 la, kasi semangat la...
abis dia kan nyanyi dia ngan keyboards dia je tau, lain pakai backing music.
Abis tu dia dah bual2, dia miss cue..
Relaks je dia cakap kat mikrofon suruh startkan balik backing muzik dia haha...

Tapi dia bawak lagu baru la, aku tak tahu...

At least dorang dah represent negara. Dah jadi international footballer lawan teams satu dunia. Tapi susah nak carik la kat youtube.

Ada satu cerita tu masa aku tengok progrem2 Special Olympics ni ada satu intellectually disabled tak salah dari Afrika negara mana aku tak dengar la..
So budak ni kuat lari..
tapi orang semua heran...Kenapa dia lari mesti dapat nombor 2.
Tak pernah nombor 1.
Asyik manjang lumba lari je dapat nombor 2. nombor 2. nombor duaaa..... tak abis2 dapat seken je la gitu.

Kan Afrika agaknye miskin2 gitu kan takde modern sangat. Orang susah.

So dorang2 cek ngan budak tu baru dapat tau, kot budak tu intellectually ada problem so tak bilang orang.... rupanya mata dia pun ada masalah, jadi dia tak nampak, jadi dia cuma ikut orang je. Tu je la manjang nombor 2. Kalau dia overtake yang 1st tu, abis la dia tak tahu arah dan tak nampak...

Aku? lari? huh.. pengsan.

This is the latest and 6th studio album from Powerwolf.
Its the EARBOOK 2-CD EDITION which I understand is limited to 500 copies.
The first cd in the packaging is the Blessed & Possessed album itself while the 2nd cd which is not available on the normal versions of this new album is called Metallum Nostrum. More of this later.

As usual I will intro a bit in my bastardized Malay language and then review a bit about the new album in my Broken English.

Aku rasa la kan, kumpulan Rock dari Jerman yang dah jadi paling kegemaran aku sejak berapa tahun lepas ialah Powerwolf.
Paling kegemaran ok. Tu hari Helloween baru keluar kan? My God-Given Right. Aku dengar lagu pertama, lagu kedua, lagu ketiga... Sedap tu sedap tapi takde tinggalkan apa2 keseronokkan sangat.
Buat sementara ini, aku takde motivasi nak dengar lain2 lagu kat Helloween terbaru tu.

Hairan jugak, pasal album mereka sebelum ni STRAIGHT OUT OF HELL ialah pada aku secara peribadi MUNGKIN ANTARA ALBUM TERBAIK DALAM SEJARAH HELLOWEEN.
Tu la kan, cita rasa masing2, halwa telinga masing2.

OK Powerwolf. Band yang kadang2 lirik2 mereka sangat nakal tapi tersangat sedap kebanyakkan lagu mereka, persembahan live yang gerek dan sangat menghiburkan.
Dalam masa yang sama mereka ada gimik yang menjadi dan berjaya tarik perhatian.
Untung mereka dapat penyanyi handalan dari Romania yang classical opera-trained dan pandai berinteraksi masa main live.

Untuk aku, album studio Powerwolf sebelum ni Preachers Of The Night memang baik tapi tak sebagus album2 sebelum nye.
Jadi aku memang berharap sangat la album terbaru ni Blessed & Possessed pukul abis. Memang menjadi ni album.
Anyway, lagi sekali lukisan dan design cover album pun Matthew Greywolf guitarist dorang jadi tukang lukis selain jadi tukang tulis lagu. Mereka memang berbakat.

Album ni Lagu kebanyakkan nye gerek abis. Aku dah dengar berulang kali tak jemu.
Kali pertama aku dapat bungkusan ni, aku dengar aku kat dalam MRT, pasang headphones, terus masuk lagu pertama.. Wahh drums dia best giler la pada telinga aku, si botak tu memang terbaik la huhu, dan lagu pun gerek, laju..., rancak, melodik, semua best. Dah tu lagu kedua pun gerek, lagu ketiga LAGI GEREK... terus la semua memuaskan hati.

Album rock terbaik bagi tahun ini untuk aku tak lain tak bukan Book of Souls, tapi nombor dua tak tahu lagi haha.
Tapi dvd live band rock tahun ni sempat ke yang Savatage Wacken show tu keluar? hah ni confirm terbaik dalam sejarah rock la kan.

Ala.... aku macam rasa.. dahsyat giler.
Savatage main 2nd main stage 40 minit lepas tu stop.
Terus TSO main 1st main stage 40minit.
Terus dua dua stage hidup dan dorang main sama2 lagi satu jam.
Kira dua band main sama2 satu kat dua stage, kan stage dorang kan kembar.
Al Pitrelli lari sana sini la kira.
Dahsyat.

Aku rasa peminat2 Savatage satu dunia tentu happy.
Band ni dah evolve dan evolve dan evlove dah jadi satu Monster besar gile ngan bermacam band bercabang semua mula dari idea2 Savatage dan producer si O'neil tu.
Walau Criss Oliva dah mati dah lebih 20 tahun..

Balik kat pendapat aku album Powerwolf baru ni, Lagu yang mula2 aku rasa paling aku kureng, lagu nombor 7 pun sebenarnye sedap tapi tu la takkan semua sedap giler kan? mesti ada cacat cela sikit. Walau lepas tu dengar ulang kali sebenarnye sedap pun, cuma aku tak suka korus dia je haha.
Tapi aku konfiden BOOK OF SOUL nanti adalah perfection. HAHA. Memang dalam kepala hotak ok tak sabar!!!!!!!!!!

Korang semua dah dengar sample teaser 28 Saat kan? Speku satu dunia ialah tentu itu lagi Speed Of Light. Adrian Smith nye penghabisan solo terus masuk melodi instrumental... DAHSYAT!!!!
Bayangkan 28 saat ni dah kasi peminat semua happy giler????

OK balik kepada Powerwolf, jadi album ni ada 11 lagu,Boleh kata takde lagu meleleh cuma lagu terakhir Let There Be Night ada sikit MAJESTIC gitu, dan dah macam lazim pulak, Powerwolf akan persembahkan lagu terakhir ngan ada bunyik Angin, bunyik loceng gereja, bunyik guruh... very Black Sabbath gitu...Mungkin ini a nod to Black Sabbath setiap album kot?
tapi memang Powerwolf ni apa aku tahu dorang memang KIPAS SUSAH MATI Black Sabbath dan Mercyful Fate.

Lagu2 aku suka kat album ni kira semua la, Blessed & Possessed, Dead Until Dark, Army Of The Night, Armata Strigoi, We Are The Wild, Sanctus Dominis, Harder Than Heaven, Sacramental Sister, All You Can Bleed, dan lagu terakhir Let There Be Night tu..
Yang aku rasa makin dengar makin terbaik lak Let There Be Night tu...
Aku seriously tak tahu apa lirik lagu ni bahagian Latin tu...(Aku speku je bahagian aku tak paham tu semua nyanyi LATIN la kot? haha) tapi lagu ni sangat mengujakan...

Tak pun Vampires/Draculas dan sebagainya.

OK, CD kedua kat album yang ada dalam versi 2cd ni bernama METALLUM NOSTROM.
Ada 10 lagu.
Semua lagu2 cover version, kebanyakkan nye lagu2 Rock yang popular dari zaman pertengahan 80an hingga awal 90an dulu.

Dari band2 Rock TERKENAL gitu la - Judas Priest ada dua lagu (dua2 dari album Painkiller, satu album Judas Priest yang dahsyat kalau difikirkan), Ozzy Osbourne solo, Running Wild, Gary Moore/Phil Lynott , Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath zaman Tony Martin dan memang mengujakan ok cover version HEADLESS CROSS mereka...., dan ni lagi buat aku suka Powerwolf, dorang ada great taste pasal dorang cover lagu Savatage jugak..... Cuma ada satu lagu terkeluar ring sikit pasal dari zaman 2000 ke atas. Lagu dari Amon Amarth.

Memang seronok la dengar interpretasi mereka. Tambahan dorang Powerwolf ada keyboards player si cengkung tu yang juga suka lari sini lari sana tu tak tahu diri diam sambil interaksi ngan audience.

Tapi lain semua gerek la jugak, Shot In The Dark...wahhh hebat, lagu2 Judas Priest si Attila boleh bawak la takde hal, tapi satu je kat telinga aku ada sikit nak adjust, lagu Edge Of Thorns... tu lagu istimewa. SAVATAGE. Istimewa band Savatage ni. Tak kira dari era zaman apa pun..
Edge Of Thorns , lagu Jon Oliva dah cerita, dia tulis lagu ni tapi cuma satu orang je boleh nyanyi, Zachary Stevens. HAHA.

KESIMPULANNYE - Untuk aku, ni album yang versi ada 2 keping cd adalah sangat2 mengujakan dan sangat mengsyok-sendirikan aku sesyok2nye.

Bentuk EARBOOK tu kalau sapa2 tak tahu, dia contoh seperti ini, saiz Piring Hitam LP, dan selalunye dalam bentuk buku kulit luar yang keras, dan banyak muka surat penuh macam2.

WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THE NEW ALBUM BY POWERWOLF??

IT REALLY GIVES ME A THRILL AND THE CHILLS AND MAKES ME SMILE FROM EAR TO EAR WHILE LISTENING TO THESE 2 CDS WITH MY HEADPHONES ON THE SUBWAY.

Its exciting, I got extra excited by the drums, Its Entertaining, Its Fun, Its Majestic, Great Songs, Great Melodies, Great Singing,

The album Blessed & Possessed is just 45 minutes long for the 11 songs.
As usual Powerwolf is not a band who try to squeezed as much music into a CD length album but more to the traditional LP sized album length. Maybe thats why the album sounds nice as only the best parts are in.

If you are into Powerwolf you will love this Blessed & Possessed album.

Meanwhile for the 2nd cd, the bonus METALLUM NOSTRUM, except for the unknown to me Chroming Rose which they covered the song Power & Glory, the rest are essentially a greatest hits from the famous rock bands from the mid 80s to early 90s.

Judas Priest is represented twice from Painkiller album - touch of evil and night crawler, phil lynott gary moore Out in the fields, Maiden's evil that men do, Savatage's wonderful song Edge Of Thorns, Sabbath Tony Martin's Headless Cross, Running Wild's Conquestadores, Amon Amarth post 2000 Gods Of War Arises among others.

The time length is more for just 10 songs, its total 52 minutes.

Anyway, the previous Powerwolf stuffs, like both the HERESY BOXSETSwhich are simply glorious and superb packagings, the other albums, photos of Powerwolf that I took myself when seeing them play live... and others...

In conclusion if you're a Powerwolf fan I think its attractive and worth it to get the double disc version and the packaging for this version is very nice...

Senang je jalan kaki je dari terminal Larkin boleh sampai pelan2 jalan kaki bukan jauh pun. Tak Sampai pun Setanak Nasik aku rasa distance dia jalan kaki pelan2.
Come on TMJ,- Wembley, Emirates, Villa Park semua konsert rock cam biasa je..
Taruk je la platform sementara atas padang, jadi padang tak rosak.
And boleh ada extra income apa untuk stadium kalau organise buat rock concert...

Tapi Allow Me To Say This... KUMPULAN SEARCH KALAU BERAKSI DI JOHOR, ialah suatu event yang pada aku adalah event rock melayu yang paling hebat sekali, setiap kali..

Ini aku boleh samakan satu je.. Cuba kita gambarkan Kumpulan Beatles... Yes Kumpulan Beatles beraksi di Liverpool.

Aku tahu takkan terjadi lagi, tapi bayangkan... betapa exciting nye kalau diberitakan Beatles main kat Liverpool,

macam gitu la EXCITED nye aku setiap kali aku dapat tahu Search main home game.

Dan aku try pergi.

Aku bukan nak apple-polishing, atau NAK MENGAMPUJohor ke hapa ke.. Tapi kalau Search beraksi kat Johor, memang la takde tandingannya dari segi AURA dan DEBARAN.

Dah la Search ni thrill semacam kalau livepasal memang expected aku akan tak tahu apa akan jadi sepanjang show baik dari segi sound dan paling terutama dari segi THE-KID-FACTOR and to some extend DIN-FACTOR dan campur ngan Search balik kampung, Search main home game....

Aku rasa its as close as aku nye thrill tengok Iron Maiden main kat Donington Park.

So memang sakit kepala ok, best case scenario ialah aku dapat pergi dua2.

Tapi, chances are slim. Annual Leave Cuti Tahunan aku dah la tinggal nyawa2 ikan.

Worst case scenario aku tak dapat pergi both, dan baca je la korang punye report2 dan review2 korang sebagai peminat yang pasti akan menyakitkan hati aku, merobek2 hati aku..., buat aku jealous hahahaa.

cerita pasal dia telah pun diabadikan tahun about 30 Tahun dahulu dalam lagu Sheriff Of Huddersfield.
- DIMANA ADA DUIT KEUNTUNGAN pada pandangan Rod Smallwood, DI SITU MAIDEN AKAN BERAKSI.

Sedikit coretan lagu baru pertama Iron Maiden sejak 5 tahun lepas. Satu jangka masa sangat lama. Penantian yang sangat seksa.

Baca 1000 orang nye pendapat, ada 1000 pendapat berlainan masing2.
1000 pendapat ke aku dah baca? haha.. nampak sah aku bohong kan? EXXAGERATE gitu.

Takdelah 1000 tapi aku harap korang paham apa maksud aku, mungkin aku baca kat porum2, mungkin 30? 40? 50 pendapat? ada pendek, ada pujian, ada kritikan, ada kritikan panjang2 ngan hujah kenapa dan mengapa mereka kurang berkenan ngan lagu Speed Of Light ni dari macam2 segi dari suara, kualiti rakaman, dan lagu tu sendiri.

Tapi aku tahu yang kritik2 ni ialah mereka yang akan beli semua versi album baru, dan akan tengok Iron maiden berulang2 kat merata tempat untuk tour terbaru tahun depan, dan akan sokong sepenuhnya. Sanggup berkorban macam2. Tu yang selalu terjadi, komplen hanya di mulut, tapi hati tetap sayang.

Cowbell nye hal pun kena lahar.. heran aku. Suka Iron Maiden la kan?

Macam aku cakap, Aku tak paham baca kritikan2 terhadap lagu baru ni. Mulut dan pendapat masing2 berhak bersuara tapi aku tak paham apa yang tak puas hatinye kat komen2 masing2. Terima je la, dari Iron Maiden dah bersara, nak Steve Harris shut down Iron Maiden dan 100% fokus kat British Lion ngan pop-rock dorang?
dah dunia hiburan terus suram pasal kehilangan Iron Maiden selamanya. KEJONG OK!

Pasal aku rasa aku tak bias kalau aku cakap Iron Maiden selepas tahun 2000 bila Adrian Smith ngan Bruce Dickinson masuk balik dan buat album2 baru adalah sangat hebat,
tak boleh dibandingkan ngan mana2 zaman mereka sebelumnye,
-kerana usia dah meningkat,
-cara pemikiran dah lain,
-dunia dan segala isi dan cara kehidupan pun dah berubah,
-Cara tulisan Maiden makin berubah, album baru ni kebanyakkan ditulis masa rakaman.
Tu yang peminat2 paling hardcore pun tak tahu, dan takde berita gossip banyak kat tenet, pasal dorang cuma tahu dan gossip Maiden nye members kat Paris, ada kat TV pun, Paris Open nye pertandingan tennis ada tunjuk Adrian Smith semua,
dan Paris memang dorang dah pernah rakam kat sana untuk album Brave New World,
ada khabar Kevin Shirley pun pergi Paris,
jadi khabar gossip ialah dorang tengah jumpa kat Paris untuk bincang dan tulis lagu,
tapi lama lepas tu baru confirm berita sebenarnye dorang terus rakam dan abis rakam dah sekaligus semua. 90 minit lak tu panjang album.
-Iron Maiden pun sekarang rakam lagu baru kat studio dah serupa style main live. Janji dorang suka.
Album Iron Maiden sekarang ialah macam Live In Studio sebelum main live betul2 masa tour.
-Kevin Shirley dan takde lagi Martin Birch.
Korang ingat Kevin Shirley nak memandai overrule Steve Harris si kepala batu tu? Ni Kevin Shirley jadi producer pun dah cukup bagus. Mau kang Steve Harris produce sendiri kat rumah dia?? mampos!! Sejarah lama berulang lagik..

dan kalau difikirkan Iron Maiden sebagai artis rakaman dah 35 tahun lamanya, dan Steve Harris dah mulakan ni band 40 tahun gitu..
Dengan Nicko Mcbrain sebagai drummer dah 63 tahun.

terima je la, dari takde lagi Iron Maiden pasal macam Adrian Smith cakap lagi sekali minggu lepas ke hapa ke, dorang bukan band kaberet.

Aku rasa satu yang hidupkan Iron Maiden ialah buat lagu baru dan main lagu baru.
Tu yang buat dorang MUDA.
Dave Murray nye interview semalam ke hapa cakap, kalau bukan pasal dorang berhenti tulis lagu masa rakaman Book Of Souls, dan dorang terus kongsi idea, mungkin Book Of Souls ialah 3 atau 4 album panjangnye... Bayangkan Book Of Soul ada 4 cd? 4 jam muzik?

Balik kepada Nicko McBrain, aku rasa dia adalah weakest link band ni sekarang, sebelum Bruce Dickinson diserang barah.
Aku harap, dia pandai2 la adjust, adjust apa yang patut ikut kepakaran dia (dan berapa rendah bangku dia) untuk terus main drum untuk Iron Maiden, dan tak mau ada susunan setlist atau pilihan lagu untuk tour terpaksa dirombak untuk menyesuaikan Nicko McBrain.
Aku rasa kalau apa2 jadi kat Nicko McBrain, aku rasa Iron Maiden akan terus berhenti selama-lamanya.
Bruce Dickinson buat sementara ni barah dia dapat sembuh, tak jadi hal. Tapi ni pun sebarang time jugak.
Bagus jugak la Maiden dah tahap level dorang boleh buat apa dorang nak, dan dorang memang banyak rehat kalau tengok schedule tour dorang.
Adrian Smith ulang cakap "Not More Than 3 Months at one time".

Dan dah lama dorang tak main 3 malam berturut2. Max 2 malam terus rehat.
Walau aku speku tu lebih untuk Bruce Dickinson, tapi tentu Nicko jugak.

Balik kepada Adrian Smith, aku rasa kalau ada anggota Maiden nak keluar Maiden, dia lah orang nye. Dia dah pernah buat sekali pasal dah tak berkenan ngan arah tujuan Maiden, dan dia aku tak terkejut keluar lagi pasal memang dia dah divideokan kan? cara pertuturan dia memang tak puas hati ngan kualiti produksi lagu2 Iron Maiden.
Contoh apa aku tahu, Intro Final Frontier tu adalah cuma demo tape Adrian Smith main ngan drum machine dia je, dia bawak gi jumpa Steve Harris untuk bilang idea tapi Steve Harris memang kepala batu, terus suka dan terus pakai tape tu sebagai intro.

Aku harap sangat, masa depan, tolonglah Steve Harris cuma tulis lagu, main bass, dan duduk tepi diam2 relak one corner untuk album seterusnya. Penerbit Kevin Shirley sila ambil arahan dari Adrian Smith.
Adrian Smith beri kata putus sebelum album dilancarkan bukan Steve Harris tolonglah...
Tapi aku tahu ni takkan terjadi.

Tapi bila interview tu hari Adrian Smith cakap Rolling Stones umur dah berapa masih main, wahhh gembira ok, untuk aku ni macam cakap Adrian Smith akan duduk dalam Maiden sampai Maiden abis. Walau aku boleh rasa, dia tentu makan hati bila kat studio rakaman haha.

Aku rasa lagu ni kalau main live, RIBUT terutama untuk mereka yang kat bahagian depan2 gitu. Lagu ni bahagian korus dia akan sangat menarik sekali bila live.

Rasanya lagu ni akan jadi lagu nombor 2 kat setlist 2016.

Dan aku dah boleh imejin aku dah boleh berangan, abis je lagu ni,

Aku ada satu teori bodoh...sejak Iron Maiden jadi 6 orang ngan line up terbaik ni dari tahun 2000, dan kecuali Brave New World,
album2 lain, untuk aku lagu pertama yang diperdengarkan Iron Maiden untuk peminat2 mereka untuk aku adalah samada lagu paling tak best, atau lagu antara kurang best dalam seluruh album.
Memang best giler, tapi kalau dibandingkan ngan lagu2 lain tentu ada tenggelam sikit la kan?

Jadi kalau teori aku ni boleh pakai...

As usual allow me to speak a bit in the Malay Language.

Kumpulan Savatage ni gerek. Kalau kau tanya pendapat pendengar muzik dorang, aku rasa mesti lain2 pendapat jauh beza mana satu album terbaik dorang atau mana album bagus dan mana album kurang bagus.

STREETS ni mungkin ada jugak orang rasa terbaik la kan.
Untuk Jon Oliva sendiri (penyanyi utama dan antara penulis utama lagu2 album ini) - Streets ni album terbaik zaman Criss Oliva masih hidup dan jadi gitaris band ni
Kerana...
Untuk Jon Oliva ni album tunjuk semua style Savatage.

Ni album macam konsep, macam Iron Maiden Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son. Ada cerita dari mula sampai abis, tu pasal ada judul A ROCK OPERA tu.
Kebanyakkan lagu adalah gerek nak mampos. Kalau nak cakap semua lagu gerek nak mampos takdelah. Tapi kalau nilai nak membeli - TAK RUGI LA. Dengar banyak kali pun takpe pasal memang macam2 ada kat album ni. Lagu slow pun ada berapa bijik lagu. Lagu Believe kat album ni la.

OK OK... aku pendekkan cerita konsep album ni.

Ni album agaknya kena gambarkan suasana lembah hina dan hitam dan gelap penuh karakter2 yang Polis pun tak berani nak dekat baik hidup atau mati, dan penuh keganasan, maksiat dan langsung takde peraturan dan undang2 yang dihormati kat kawasan terjadinya cerita ni.

Ada seorang kat lorong2 hitam di New York bernama JESUS (OK OK korang jangan keliru terutama sapa dah dengar lagu kat album ni bila lirik sebut2 Jesus.. Jangan terus padam.)

JESUS dalam album konsep ni, dan jugak karakter utama ialah HUGE SCALE HEROIN DRUGS DEALER, PENJUAL DADAH SKALA BESAR2AN. Dia diberi nama JESUS pasal untuk PENAGIH2 DADAH kat kawasan NEW YORK tempat dia edar dadah tu, dialah hero,dialah penyelamat untuk NAFSU KETAGIH DADAH MEREKA. Jadi pasal dia penyelamat, tu dipanggil Jesus, walau dia major drug dealer untuk Southern New York.
Dia dipanggil Saviour on Avenue D, jadi Downtown Jesus, jadi D.T yang ada dalam lirik2 lagu2 kat album ni.

So dia sebenarnya berbakat nyanyi main gitar, jadi dia main kat satu kelab, terus semua orang suka, dan makin semua suka, tetiba dia jadi artis rakaman, terus semua orang suka dan dia jadi FAMOUS GILER satu Amerika gitu.
Bila dah famous giler, dia mula balik ambik dadah2 yang dia jual dulu yang membinasakan ramai orang tu. Terus abis la kerjaya dia, abis segalanya. Sampai dia jadi bankrap.
Jadi dia balik semula ke lorong2 lembah2 hina...

Abis tu dia jumpa satu Blues Guitarist dah tua, so dia tengok orang tua tu, dia taubat.
Dia panggil Ex-Manager dia tolong. Dekni sorang yang dia tahu boleh bantu dia.
Abis tu si Jesus ni hutang duit banyak zaman dadah dia, so masa konfrontasi tu, si orang tagih hutang bunuh Ex-Manager dia.
So Jesus sedih giler, nak tepon gelfren lama dia, takde respon...
So dia pergi sana pergi sini
lepas tu... ala..korang gi la dengar sendiri album ni dan baca tulisan2 kat bungkusan cd ni.

dari segi lagu... memang album ni sangat bagus la, tapi apa yang Savatage buat yang tak bagus kan? Ni dah set rekod kat persembahan reunion mereka kat Wacken 2015 yang tak pernah dibuat mana2 band sebelum ni dalam sejarah apa yang Savatage (dan TSO) buat.
Aku rasa semua peminat nak tengok sangat dvd Savatage (dan TSO) main malam tu. Aku baca artikel pendek apa jadi malam tu Savatage (dan TSO) aku dah seronok dan dah bayangkan betapa best giler.
Anyway TSO tu ialah antara band yang wujud lepas SAVATAGE dah kurang/ seterusnye stop main. Selain Jon Oliva PAIN dan lain2.
Tapi yang terbaik nye, rasanya semua anggota masih sehati sejiwa untuk kumpulan Savatage gitu.

Akhir kata - Album STREETS ni lagu2 gerek, dan lirik2 pun cantik2...16 lagu..about 4 lagu gitu lagu slow, lain2 lagu rancak, dan terang lagi bersuluh muzik heavy yang paling menarik, at its best gitu. Ni Savatage ye tak, dan Savatage zaman Mendiang Criss Oliva sebagai gitaris, dan jugak ni album terakhir Jon Oliva sebagai penyanyi utama sebelum lepas ni dia belakang tabir tukang tulis lagu kemudian main keyboards dan share vocals.
Walau album selepas ni dia tak disenaraikan sebagai ahli Savatage untuk berapa sebab, termasuk soal kewangan band, soal kontrak dan sebagainya.
Edge of Thorns nye inlet paling terbaik ok, Jon Oliva tulis cerita semua pasal album tu, pasal penyanyi baru, kejayaan Savatage ngan album tu dan kematian Cris Oliva.
Tapi Edge Of Thorns boxset ni tetap tak macam Jepun punye pressing. Tapi takpe...

The text and stories for Streets inlet booklet is fantastic.
The background of songwriting, the recording memories, the meaning of each songs.

Anyway, Streets is a very good album.

The two songs below gives a lump in my throat.

This is a very good album. Lyrically its so beautiful and meaningful too. Something that we can just replace the city's name, and replace it with a place we are more familiar with....

- Bulan 3 ialah Amerika Tengah/ Amerika Selatan

- Bulan 6 Eropah - Kalau Eropah tentu bulan 6 banyak festivals jadi memang desas desus Donington aku rasa betul. Dengan UK dapat full tour masa krismas tahun depan.

- Maka dengan itu, kemungkinan Awal tahun Bulan 1 tahun depan Tour mungkin bermula Amerika Syarikat dan Kanada.

Jadi kalau betul maknanya tour USA 2015 yang sebenarnye secara Rahsia dah dibooking tapi belum sempat diumumkan tapi Bruce dah dapat Barah, dialih ke 2016.

- Jadi untuk Asia dan Oceania, aku rasa Februari 2017, jadi memang kena sesuai dengan Twitter Soundwave Promoter dia takde plan apa2 untuk Maiden untuk tahun 2016 tapi mungkin 2017 Maiden beraksi Soundwave.

Jadi ni akan sebijik sama dengan 2011 nye jadual bulan February 2011 bila Iron Maiden datang Asia Tenggara.

Secara logical memang masuk otak.

Dengan Lagu yang mungkin lagu paling dinantikan penuh debaran Empire Of The Clouds RASANYA takkan dimainkan live, dengan sapa nak gi main Piano, takkan Bruce?, dengan Violin semua dah la 18 minit.
Dan dengan ni ada orang dah terjamahan dari bahasa Jerman report pasal dah dengar setiap lagu cammana... Jadi aku dah buat andaian sendiri, cammana setiap lagu tu, walaupun aku belum dengar HAHAHAHA.

A reasonable sounding setlist that I think is a balance between old and new, with some popular pop songs included to please the masses.
. This is my guess, a realistic guess I think, only songs ever played before, but I keep the new songs to a minimum of 6.
The best case scenario is of course Maiden plays the new album ni full.

3) Switching to something JAPANESE...

I think what I am typing is accurate, ANTHEM is releasing a new album total of 4 disc. TRIMETALLIC I think its called.
of which 3 cds and 1 dvd.
First two cds will be live versions of NO SMOKE WITHOUT FIRE album and also DOMESTIC BOOTY album.
Third cd is very confusing because it includes OUTRAGE and the song Madness. I dont know whether Anthem is joining in or they just include the guest bands that play with them this year in Japan?
The fourth is a dvd.

Its really stressful to dig out Anthem news.

4) Wings... 30 Tahun Stadium Merdeka

Wahhh gigih... gigih aku carik info...

Pentas cammana? Pentas jenis belakang goal post cam Metallica gitu atau pentas yang bahagian length Stadium. Paham?? macam susunan pentas mengadap Grandstand gitu.

Iron Maiden adalah satu mirage. Mirage yang aku sanggup buat benda aku tak terfikir aku boleh buat hanya untuk dapat menjiwai Mirage itu. Cewahhhh.... (aku dah plan Donington... boleh???)

IRON MAIDEN AND THE BOOK OF SOULS GO JUMBO ON MASSIVE 2016 WORLD TOUR

VOCALIST BRUCE DICKINSON TO CAPTAIN AND PILOT A BOEING 747-400 JUMBO JET TO PLAY IN SIX OF THE SEVEN CONTINENTS TRAVELLING OVER 55,000 MILES (88,500km) AROUND THE GLOBE

“THE BOOK OF SOULS WORLD TOUR” IS EXPECTED TO VISIT AROUND 35 COUNTRIES
INCLUDING FIRST EVER CONCERTS IN CHINA AND EL SALVADOR

NEW STUDIO ALBUM “THE BOOK OF SOULS” IS RELEASED WORLDWIDE ON SEPT 4

IRON MAIDEN, whose new studio album The Book of Souls, their first for 5 years, will be released worldwide next week on Sept 4, are taking touring to a new level using a Boeing 747-400 Jumbo Jet (aka Queen of the Skies) for their World Tour next year. Vocalist Bruce Dickinson is currently in training for his licence to fly the massive four engine jet, which is almost twice the size and over three times the weight of the Boeing 757 used on previous tours in 2008/9/11 (see the comparison grid below of the Evolution of Ed Force One). The new Ed Force One will take the band, crew and over 12 tons of equipment more than 55,000 miles (88,500km) around the planet with concerts in six of the seven continents (Australasia, Asia, North and South America, Africa and Europe) with The Book of Souls World Tour 2016 expected to visit around 35 countries.

Details of the precise schedule are currently being finalised and we will commence announcements of specific dates for the different territories in a few weeks’ time. However we can reveal that The Book Of Souls World Tour will open in the U.S.A in late February with Ed Force One flying in for three shows before, in early March, heading into Central America visiting MEXICO, followed by a much anticipated first ever concert in EL SALVADOR and a return to COSTA RICA. Ed Force One then proceeds into South America for concerts in ARGENTINA, CHILE and a number of shows in BRAZIL before flying back to the USA at the end of March for ten more cities covering the USA and, of course, CANADA in the first two weeks of April.

A long awaited return to JAPAN follows later in April, and then the band are delighted to be playing their first ever shows in CHINA before heading to NEW ZEALAND and AUSTRALIA for a comprehensive tour during the first half of May. Shows in SOUTH AFRICA, Maiden’s first visit there with Bruce, will be the last port of call before Ed Force One heads to EUROPE for a very extensive tour starting in late May and finishing in early August. This will the first time Ed Force One has ever been used on any European Tour dates (other than Bruce’s Fan Club trips to shows) and will provide transport there for at least for the first few weeks.

Bruce Dickinson comments,
“When the opportunity arose from my friends at Air Atlanta Icelandic to lease a 747 for The Book of Souls World Tour, of course we jumped at the chance, who wouldn’t? The greatest benefit of travelling in a 747 is that because of its colossal size and freight capacity we can carry our stage production and all our stage equipment and desks in the cargo hold without having to make any of the immense structural modifications needed to do this on the previous 757, the extent of which fans will have noted on the Flight 666 DVD. Although in reality we cannot carry much more gear the savings in complexity, time and cost make using the 747 even more practical. All we will need to do is “paint” it and move a few seats around, with the added advantage that there is much more room for band and crew – our Krew can almost get a row of seats each to catch up on sleep on the flights! Furthermore, it is marginally faster 0.85 MACH and the range of around 7000NM (13,000 km) is much greater which means we will not have to make the refuelling stops we needed to with the 757.

“However, even though we have worked out the logistics of taking a plane of that immense size out on tour, I still have to learn to fly it before we can go anywhere! So, I’m currently doing my training to qualify as a pilot and Captain on a Boeing 747. I’m doing this at Cardiff Aviation, my aircraft maintenance facility in Wales, where we recently took possession of a rather splendid 747 simulator which I can’t wait to get practising on!

“We’re all really excited at the thought of bringing our brand new tour to fans who have never seen us play live before, and of course re-visiting all our old friends again too. You can rest assured we are all working hard to put together a spectacular show for our fans.”

Gigih ok aku gi kedai kaset melayu carik CD ni, 12.50RM gitu harga or is it 13.50RM? lupa lak, tapi Berpaling nye CD takde. Belum keluar lagi la ye...

OK OK aku nak share sikit Memori aku , Kenangan aku, dan apa2 je la ada kena mengena dengan album Di Pintu Sepi ni khasnye.

Aku bagi kat tiga bahagian ok... Dan semua ni, takde rujukan aku type dari kepala hotak berdengung.

(I) KENANGAN KASET DI PINTU SEPI (Beli 2 kali)..

- Dulu2 aku ada kaset ni, actually keluar je kaset ni aku dah ada... Cehhh.

Kaset putih Polygram gitu.

Aku masih ingat reaction aku was like WTF gitu. Dah la inlet sekeping, lirik takde apa takde, tapi memang zaman kaset dulu Search under Polygram memang cam puaka packaging.

Kalau bandingkan ngan kaset2 company lain, warna warni, lirik2, inlet dalam panjang2.....

Dan siap ada stiker2 original yang sangat terover..

Korang ingat kaset pertama Lefthanded? TEROVER KAN? sticker2 sana sini, nak tunjukkan original la...

Polygram? huh... kalau ada lirik dah cukup bagus. Ni termasuk packaging band rock omputeh la. Sapa sezaman aku paham la apa aku tengah berbual kons ni.

- Then seperti kebanyakkan benda dalam hidup, lagu2 ni hanya terpahat di dalam kepala sahaja. kaset semua dah kelaut, hilang atau sebagainye.

- Then aku masih ingat aku jalan2 kat Geylang Serai Singapore pasar Geylang lama aku jumpa kaset ni balik ngan Berpaling, aku beli Di Pintu Sepi lagi sekali... tu jam kaset tu jenis Transparent.

By the way, untuk pengamatan aku, kaset ni dan Berpaling hanyalah untuk Polygram abiskan stok2 lagu2 Search dalam Vault dorang je. Untung la aku sebagai Peminat ye tak?
Aku actually tak kesah sangat pasal Mahkamah nye arahan tarik balik or whatever, pasal aku dah ada kaset dia masa mula2 kat kedai, so kira tarik balik tarik balik la...

Janji aku dah ada original kaset dan dengar apa isi kandungan kaset ni.

Dan tarik berapa punye tarik pun, masih ada kat kedai jual muzik melayu, cuma Search Live yang kaset kembar apa tu title dia tu? Selang seli dengan interview tu? hah... tu memang tak boleh dapat.

- Ooo aku masih ingat, 2nd time kaset Di Pintu Sepi aku beli, siap convert CD ok. HAHA. Maklum nak digitalkan dan mengmp3 kan segala tok nenek koleksi untuk aku mudah-dengar.

Kid nye line up ada lah...

Setelah Hujan first time aku tengok Search live main lagu ni was with Hillary Ang nye line up kat Johor. It was like heavenly la gitu kan bila intro masuk. FUCKIN HELL!! THEY ARE PLAYING SETELAH FUCKIN HUJAN!! Gitu la reaksi aku sikit lebih kurang haha.

Menuuuussuuuuk kalbu. Aku rasa tu jam show Setelah Banjir kot?

Di Pintu Sepi was kat kaset/CD Double Trouble 2 and I fuckin lost both. Yang ada jet fighter ngan orang kat cover depan tu. Kertas magik, sebijik Best Of Wings nye kertas magik yaitu kertas yang digunakn untuk packaging.

Dan Setelah Hujan yang kat Search Terbaik or whatever best of la... Yang dorang rakam balik lagu2 zaman Kid not around first time the songs appeared.

Anyway, aku suka kalau live Search bersama Kid fokus lebih kat lagu2 zaman Kid...

Korang tahu masa Search bawak Kereta Merah kat IB , I WAS SO DAMN HAPPY... What a song!

Tu aku nak tengok dan dengar, pasal zaman Kid banyak lagu gerek2.. ok la, Gelora Cinta Ku was amazing choice, tapi aku would prefer setlist Search condong banyak zaman Search ngan Kid kalau Kid yang guitarist live.

Main je Rampage and Karisma full albums. Encore ok la kasi fans lain in general nyanyi2 lagu2 yang macam ni 2 lagu je la yang Search ada gitu!! - Isabella and Pawana and I would be fuckin happy and I would go home before the encore. LOL!!!.

OK and these come up to the next memori , actually on-going memory la kan...

(III) mengumpul segala tok nenek lagu2 Search dalam bentuk official CD dan MP3.

OK, yang MP3 tu pasal Search pun secara rasmi dah ada boxset MP3 tu kan, yang aku dah tayang foto2 kat blog ni satu masa dahulu..

tapi tak complete pun, walaupun ada versi Kejora Bersatu Amy nyanyi.

Very the confusing because sebagai peminat, of course kita nak collect, WALAU SAMA LAGU, tapi clear cut, kita nak lain2 versi...

So dengan keluarnye Di Pintu Sepi ini, maka dapat la bentuk Digital Rasmi la kira kan?

So makin boleh expand la boxset tu, pasal aku dah ada Search 10 Tahun CD Wak Kang punye, Bikin Wilayah, ala... aku hilang double trouble 2 aku la, ke aku pinjam kawan aku rasa...

like what happened to GHOST - MELIORA album last few weeks.

But, I guess the people who are excited about The Book Of Souls and listen to the leaks will at least buy one version of the album, so I guess Maiden will not really suffer.

I mean if you dont like Iron Maiden, you will not even want to listen to them, even if its leaked or given free to you.

I had pre-ordered the deluxe double Cd, the triple black vinyls and the Itunes versions LOL!!! (yes yes I am a pathetic addicted fool who slogs day and night to help contribute to makes Iron Maiden rich for their next Seven Generations LOL!!!)
but I just cannot resist the LEAK.

So my first review from listening to the inferior LEAKED version, and listening to it with sound coming out from my laptop speakers which is not really good for music.

and also...

No lyrics. WIth Lyrics it will be so much better.
Definitely not as good quality as the original releases on cds/vinyls or Itunes.
I am not using my headphones!! Just sound from my laptop. I am actually not suppose to use my laptop now, but I cannot resist hearing the leaked Book Of Souls.

Anyway, besides me getting the best music when I am wearing headphones, another fun with headphones is its clearer to know and identify the guitars of the three amigos on the songs especially the solos.

OK some brief notes as I am typing...

My additional notes and also below is what I think of each song on first listen as described above.

THIS ALBUM IS GOING TO BE A GROWER TO ME. JUST LIKE A.M.O.L.A.D. IS A GROWER TO ME, I ONLY REALLY THINK AMOLAD IS AN AMAZING ALBUM AFTER HEARING LIVE SOUNDBOARD BOOTLEGS FROM THE 2006 TOUR WHEN THEY PLAY THE ALBUM IN FULL. I REVISITED THAT STUDIO ALBUM AND I THINK I GOT THE MAGIC OF THAT WHOLE ALBUM AND WHY MAIDEN DECIDES TO PLAY THE WHOLE ALBUM LIVE.

Minimum Turgid Slow Intros songs compared to past few albums. I think too many songs had slow intros on the past few albums. This could make the intros of some songs too draggy if you listen to them often LOL!!

As an album, not as individual songs, but as an album, I think The Book Of Soul is definitely the BEST out of all post 2000 reunion 6-men lineup albums.I think The Book Of Soul is going to be the best Maiden album since SSOASS from 1988.

THIS TIME THE CHORUS ARE REALLY WORDS NOT REPETITIONS.

So we have proper choruses not

or
"Speed Of Light... The Speed Of Light Woo Hoo.. Speed Of Light"

If you get what I mean. So this is something very happy.

1) If Eternity Should Fail (first listen with inferior sound quality and environment 9.2/10)
A SPAGHETTI WESTERN INTRO? OR DJANGO UNCHAINED? LOL!!!!!
I type this after I listen to this 10th song, this is really a Bruce Dickinson album for me.
I give it 9.2 because the song accelerates for the solos...
This song really makes me smile. IRON MAIDEN IS BACK!!!!
The ending is so Bruce Dickinson solo album with his spoken words.....
I want to listen to Jerusalem after this. I love that song, Been a long time I listened to that one.

2) Speed Of Light (9.2/10)
Amazing Chorus. Exciting Exciting Guitars and also rhythm. Reminds me of the Hear N Aid information with all names guitarists doing solos and right at the bottom the words - All Rhythm Guitars by Dave Murray & Adrian Smith.
A live song.
And as most Iron Maiden songs, the live versions will be simply superior and kick ass compared to studio version songs.

3) The Great Unknown ((first listen with inferior sound quality and environment 6.1/10)
"Winter softly falling to the ground"...
I want the lyric sheets to this album so bad....

I am not so into this song. Maybe I will like it later. I will force myself to like it.
666 listens will do it LOL!!!

4) The Red & Black (first listen with inferior sound quality and environment 9.35/10)
- Starts remind me of Blood On The Worlds Hand.
Up tempo Steve Harris Epicness. Keyword UPTEMPO..
Great great guitar melodies, and lots of wonderful sudden time changes, another song that needs repeated listening to get to the Bruce verses, and another of the WOO HOOO WOOO!!! , WOO HOOO WOOO WOOO!!! song.

5) When The River Runs Deep (first listen with inferior sound quality and environment 8.21/10)
- Rock N Roll!! Awesome solos.

6) The Book Of Souls (first listen with inferior sound quality and environment 8.6/10)
- An Apocalypto-movie inspired song.

Start with immediate mid tempo to a fast mid section. I find too many songs on the past few albums has slow intros so this is simply refreshing. Bruce Dickinson voice in this album is tremendous. It will be amazing to see him sing live and running and prancing about this coming tour.

7) Death Or Glory (first listen with inferior sound quality and environment 8.5/10) -
Another fast song. Once I got the lyrics, I am going to memorise the chorus, and this will makes a nice song to sing along to. A superb time change to enter the guitar solos. My shoulders is moving to the left and right and front and back. LOL!!!.

8) Shadows Of The Valley (first listen with inferior sound quality and environment 8.5/10)
- Now I know why those magazine reviewers who had listened to this album mentioned WASTED YEARS when reviewing this song. LOL!!!!!!
Two solo breaks on this song. The second solo breaks has some very nice duels.
THE ENDING HAS THE WOO HOO WOO HOO HOOO...
and another solo break...
This is going to make a superb live song. I am very dissapointed Montseguer and House Of Doctor D was never played live, so I hope either this song or Death Or Glory will be played live.

9) Tears Of A Clown (first listen with inferior sound quality and environment9.666/10)
- ""The Robin William Song"".
Na Noo Na Nooo. Mork And Mindy Man. The Night At The Museum General who likes Pochahontas, Mrs Doubtfire, Bicentennial Man and everything else.
This will makes a nice live song and change the show completely I think.

I dont know why, the song is up tempo but it really sounds sad. I feel kind of sad really.

I want to take a breather...... Tears Of A Clown I think is going to be a special song, I think all of us will find something in our life that will easily relates to this song.

Everyone of us can relate to this Tears Of A Clown song I think.

The most clowns among us are the most tragic ones...

10) The Man Of Sorrows (first listen with inferior sound quality and environment 8.9/10)
Is that Dave Murray at the start? Woo hooo..
A ballad? LOL!!! What an intro. No its not a ballad. It speed up a little LOL!!
Nice guitars again. I think I am going to love the guitars on this album.
Just like Isle Of Avalon in it being a bit Un-Maiden song.

11) EMPIRE OF THE CLOUDS. I HAVE NOT HEARED THIS ONE YET.
Surely Surely this 18 minute Piano by Bruce song is the most mother of all Maiden Epicness.
I think I can wait till the release day for this.

I think if you are a fan of Chemical Wedding and Accident Of Birth you will like this album. I think this is a most Bruce Dickinson album, and nothing bad about that. In fact its refreshing.

album wise - This is going to be the best Iron Maiden album since SSOASS. And I am so happy.

OK Actually I want to talk about something else...

I feel like talking about my feelings in English, with a bit of Malay Language in between.

I want to talk about my sadness seeing Lemmy heartbreaking latest condition, my memories of Motorhead, and lastly MOTORHEAD's new album Black Magic,
which I already hear and I am kind of dissapointed because I want it to be Inferno style, or at least Aftershock style.
But its still typical Motorhead. Nothing more nothing less. But I like Inferno very very much.
I guess you know my taste.

Because I saw the three amazing superb fan videos recordings on the internet of Motorhead playing in Austin USA two days back.

It was the start of the 3rd song Metropolis that really got me.

I mean I read the news before I saw the video.

It was worse worse than what I can imagine after reading the news, but before seeing the video.

Of course I am distracted by Mikkey "Lemmy says he's the best drummer in the world, so it could possibly be true" Dee but its Lemmy.
Before the song seems Phil Campbell out of the video screen is volunteering to do the singing or something?
I dont really understand what Phil Campbell words are and he is out of screen, but I think its words of encouragement to Lemmy and so on after Lemmy is complaining it seems?.

Health is important!!

I guess everyone in the world just want him to be happy and healthy.
Its ridiculous I think Motorhead's live schedule? Should have more rest in between.

Lemmy seems so bad. I think its good he stop it then force till the end of even the 3rd song

Yes he wants to rock n roll and I think he did say he will die while on the road doing his rock n roll, but still this is not the way, I think.

He got difficulty walking, standing with much discomfort and when he returns to apologise he needs a stick and move with much difficulty.

Rob Halford in Singapore with Judas Priest use a walking stick at the end, but he just sings and I guess Rob Halford only problem is with legs that time.
While Lemmy plays bass which translate double the work and Lemmy has I think a few health issues.

Music fans who listens to Motorhead will rate Lemmy highly and as a legend.

For fans in South East Asia, its difficult because Motorhead don't come and play here.

I was always fascinated hearing to live albums and Bootlegs of the spoken "We Are Motorhead and We Play Rock And Roll!!" intro.

So when the only chance I got to see Motorhead play, I was ready with my handphone. I just want to capture that moment on my handphone video when Lemmy says those words.

And I got it... LOL!!!

Its like a FULFILLMENT OF A LIFE-LONG AMBITION JUST TO HEAR LEMMY SAY THOSE MAGIC WORDS LIVE!.

Happy and memorable day that was...

Although Phil "Animal" Taylor ex drummer Motorhead was introduced and he comes on stage but he seems disorientated??????? Disorientated and Lost. I think thats the word. Nice to see him in person but not nice to see his condition then, if you get what I mean?

lain2 orang lain2 cita2 ye tak?.. Aku cita2 nak dengar dan tengok secara langsung Lemmy intro ayat legend ni We Are Motorhead And We Play Rock N Roll. haha.

Anyway korang tengok budak tu, yang kat akhir video ni!! Kongajar! Ni yang selalu aku kena hati2 nanti aku pun kene pedajal ngan orang lain.

tapi kat tepi aku, korang tengoklah boleh budak2 start Mosh Pit masa nak abis. Siot... haha.

Dah la berlumpur giler. Asal jangan kena aku sudah... Aku dah "Alamak salah tempat la aku berdiri" hahaha. "Cepat2 stop main Motorhead aku nak blah dari sini!!" haha.

Kenangan aku tengok Lemmy dan Motorhead. Ni yang sebelum dia jatuh sakit. Lepas show ni yang mula2 sekali dorang main kat Wacken lepas tu Lemmy dah start meragam kesihatan dia sampai sekarang. Dia macam2 penyakit tak silap aku, silap jantung pun ada pacemaker.

In conclusion so one last thing,

I got a quick listen to the new BLACK MAGIC album by Motorhead.

Its same old, same old. Nice, but... it wont make me rush to buy the album.

- My FAVOURITE Motorhead album is always and forever - INFERNO.

- My SECOND FAVOURITE Motorhead album is maybe AFTERSHOCK.

- Special Mention must go to ORGASMATRON due to the two best Motorhead songs ever - title track, and Deaf Forever and also one of the most beautiful album cover. Its not in my top two favourites because I dont like the other songs so much LOL!!!

From the above, I think you can guess, I prefer it more when Motorhead swings to heavy metal? I guess that is how I interpret the style of Inferno and to an extend Aftershock.

But on the BLACK MAGIC album there is suddenly Motorhead slows down for the song beautiful song called TILL THE END.

Its so bitter-sweet song.
A Poignant song.

Book Of Soul will be album of the year unless BELINDA CARLISLE release a new album then she can kick Maiden ass and I dont care. LOL!!!
2nd place for album of the year will be a fight between Paradise Lost new album & Ghost new album.
(Vreid has released one new song from their coming soon release... an imagination of the deep harsh Norway weather and environment where they grow up, certainly their style of Black Metal/N Roll but I dont think it will overtake to get 2nd place in my heart this year).

Empire Of The Cloud will be the song of the year.
But Till The End & Tears Of The Clown will fight for the saddest song of the year.

OK Time for Maiden..

Salam semua.

Allow me to speak a bit in English about the new Iron Maiden album The Book Of Souls, after that I will switch to my bastardized MARKET version of the Malay Language, and then a little on the new Metal Hammer Magazine which has about 20 over pages on the new Maiden stuff right at the end.

This is how I listen to The Book Of Souls so far.

When I listen to Maiden, I will visualise it on my head what each band member is doing.
How Nicko will sit on his low stool will be on my vivid imagination.
So its important even during the instrumental and solos section I can imagine and FANTASIZE.

Maybe the solos are wrong, we will know it sooner or later on the breakdowns.

I take Iron Maiden personally.
I dont care about what others have to say on Iron Maiden. Never Have, Probably Never Will.
Well one exception ...Probably my love ones at home as I cannot have gone backpacking alone to see Maiden plays in different places, different continents, different countries, without them NOT discouraging me LOL!! (now did that sentence comes out the way I meant it?? LOL!!) BUT THEY KNOW MY CRAZINESS WHEN IT COMES TO IRON MAIDEN, I CANNOT BE HELPED ANYMORE LOL!!

Put it simply, As far as I am concern, most of the time, unless as stated above, Its just me and IRON FUCKIN MAIDEN.

So this is my review and opinion on the new album.

When the new album is rumoured and gossiped, my main worry is the presence of The Too Long Turgid Slow Intros that I am not so keen if it happens a bit too much.
I have no problem with slow intros but if its too long, I gets impatient for the music to explode LOL!!
This is because I listen to Maiden quite a lot, often, so I mean, Talisman.
Now I will openly say it, I would have prefer House Of Doctor D to Talisman on the last tour if they wants to play a Janick song.

But then I realised, Maiden is definitely reaching the end of their lifeline and Bruce health condition and especially Nicko's age, I realised I must be happy and enjoy it as much as possible while Maiden is still active.

This album does not disappoints.
This album is my 2015 album of the year.
The last song on this album, the Bruce on Piano 18 minutes Mother of all Maiden Epics EMPIRE OF THE CLOUDS is the song I will choose as my Song Of The Year.

I was thinking, maybe 5 years down the road, if I am alive, and I am to list my favourite all time Iron Maiden number one album and number one song. And YOU PUT A GUN ON MY HEAD and I have to choose because I dont think I can even choose and make a top 5 album or a top 40 songs,
I will choose The Book Of Souls, and Empire Of The Clouds respectively.

This album has minimum of the slow turgid intros that I was talking about.
Steve Harris Red And The Black is a perfect example. An up tempo Epic all the way. 13 minutes long, the 3rd longest song in Maiden's history, just a second shorter than ROTAM.
This song has one of the most mind-boggling instrumentals and solos section ever, with some of the most complicated time changes Maiden ever done.
THIS SONG WILL MAKE JAWS DROP WHEN MAIDEN PLAYS THIS LIVE which I am sure they will.
Especially if the news Empire Of The Clouds wont be played.

But I believe if Empire of The Clouds is played, I think there will quite a number of grown men crying and bursting to tears.
LOL!!!
The song is simply beautiful.

In conclusion, because if I write in detail about this album it will never be finished,

This album is a killer in every sense of the word.
As an album, this is the best album of the current 6 men lineup.
Other albums have amazing amazing moments like Starblind, Brighter Than A Thousand Suns, Paschendale, even Thin Line Between Love And Hate,

but as an album, this is hands down the best.

Maybe one day, I will really say this is the best Iron Maiden ever.

But nothing in life is perfect, and I find Steve Harris bass on this album unique.

I need to get use to how Steve Harris bass sounds on this album.

Untuk aku la, ni album macam Steve Harris pergi rumah Bruce Dickinson, tengok semua hasil kerja Bruce Dickinson dan paksa Bruce Dickinson guna semua seni dia untuk Iron Maiden haha.

Takdelah, kecuali lagu pertama IF ETERNITY NEVER ENDS.

Lagu2 Bruce lain memang dia pergi rumah Adrian Smith untuk bawak idea dia.

Kecuali lagu EMPIRE OF THE CLOUDS. Bruce cipta lagu ni sambil main piano kat studio rakaman, dorang sound-proof kan piano Bruce kat satu ruang, jadi Bruce boleh buat idea dan dorang rakam dan mainkan apa Bruce nak.
Ni aku rasa serupa lagu Where The Wild Wind Blows kat album sebelum ni, lagu ni kat studio bukan lagu penuh, dorang rakam sikit sikit atas arahan Steve Harris.
Dah siap lagu terus sedap, terus siap main live lagi untuk tour lepas.

Jadi walaupun memang khabarnye EMPIRE OF THE CLOUDS takkan dimainkan live, dengan sapa nak main piano, dengan orkestra part tu, ngan complicated nye,
tapi always orkestra part tu dorang ada Michael Kenney (Steve Harris nye tech dan jugak penyokong muzik dengan kadang2 main keyboards Maiden) atau dorang boleh pakai backing tape.
Dave Murray ada cakap EMPIRE OF THE CLOUDS mungkin dan boleh dimainkan live.

Jadi kita tengok cammana. Anyway, aku dengar lagu EMPIRE OF THE CLOUDS sedih siot lagu ni. Aku rasa kalau aku tengok Maiden live next tour, kalau dapat tengok la, dan Maiden mainkan lagu ni, masa mula2 Piano tu, aku rasa aku akan menangis.

OK ni album,

If Eternity Should Fail (9.6/10), terbaik la. Siap ngan spoken ending. Sapa suka style Bruce Dickinson Chemical Wedding ngan Accident Of Birth, nahhh ambikkkkk THORBAIK!!!

Bila ending ending tu korus korus gitu... Bruce nyanyi, Adrian Smith kat belakang solo sikit solo sikit solo sikit...

Speed Of Light (9.2/10)- lagi satu lagu confirm live. Korus yang sangat sedap. Wahhh... Ribut ok lagu ni bila part korus....

GREAT UNKNOWN (6.9/10) - Lagu aku kurang sikit... Tapi instrumental solos dia hebat... Sebab tu aku kasi 6.9 haha.

THE RED AND THE BLACK (9.98/10) - Terbaik la 13 minit panjang. Lagi satu saat pendek dari Rime Of Ancient Mariner. Start sampai abis rancak. Terbaik la ciptaan Steve Harris ni.
Instrumental section part ni... aku terpaku. Macam aku tengah diri kat atas gunung ganang, ada angin tiup...WAHHHH..cam ada segemen Celtic style Clansman gitu hahaha

OK, salah satu sebab, kenapa kalau perasan, Steve Harris sikit kurang tulis lagu kat album ni, dan nampak macam condong kepada Bruce Dickinson dan jugak Adrian Smith,
masa rakaman album ni kat Paris (ni album sama tempat rakaman ngan album Brave New World)

Steve Harris ada kematian dua orang terdekat dalam hidup dia masa rakaman dan tulis lagu kat studio.
Satu kawan dia dari kecik,
satu salah seorang ahli keluarga dia.

Apa pun, lagu Red And Black ni instrumental section dia menakjubkan, AKU TAKUT MAIDEN KANTOI LIVE OK!! hahaah...

Aku pernah cerita dulu, PERTAMA KALI DALAM HIDUP AKU TENGOK MAIDEN MAIN LIVE, dorang main lagu Rime Of Ancient Mariner, lepas tu kantoi besar,
tapi giler babi nye pro dorang, boleh nampak kepala semua pusing tengok each other terus cover macam takde apa jadi..

SAVATAGE'S EDGE OF THORNS ALBUM IS AMAZING - From the first to the last song.

THERE ARE A FEW WONDERFUL SONGS, AND THERE ARE SOME EXTRA-ORDINARY GREAT SONGS, AND THERE ARE SOME SONGS THAT JUST MAKES YOU THANKFUL THAT YOU ARE A FAN OF THIS BAND.

This is not exactly a review, but a detailed page by page comparison, especially the text and packaging of both Savatage Edge Of Thorns Japanese pressings cd which originally was the only place to locate the songs FOREVER AFTER and SHOTGUN INNOCENCE.

Both these songs later appear on the Western pressings of Savatage compilations and another pressing of Edge Of Thorns.

Whats interesting is that the Edge of Thorns version that comes as one of the album on the SAVATAGE ULTIMATE BOXSET (my one is number 1412) has some fascinating in depth stories of Savatage during the Edge Of Thorns period. The recording sessions, the new face Zachary Stevens, Jon Oliva officially not in the band anymore and playing piano for the album, and also the death of Criss Oliva..

Jadi pasal aku cuba nak pelan2 tunjukkan setiap inti packaging setiap album Savatage dalam Ultimate Boxset mereka,

aku tukar haluan sikit pasal untuk Edge Of Thorns ni, versi cetakan Jepun memang paling istimewa, siap dengan 2 lagu, yang waktu tu tak boleh dapat kat mana2 lain.

Aku tak bedek la, ni album sangat terbaik...dari lagu rancak, ke lagu slow, dan macam2 style lagu..

Album ni

1) Jon Oliva mula2 kesihatan tak elok, dan dia pun tahu, untuk kasi peluang Savatage nye lagu2 dikenali lebih ramai, lagu2 Savatage dimainkan di corong radio stesen Amerika, suara dia tak sesuai, dan jugak Savatage ada masalah kontrak ngan syarikat rakaman, jadi Jon Oliva tolong tulis lagu, ada lagu dia dipaksa oleh Criss Oliva untuk digunakan kat album ni.... dan Jon main piano/keyboards.

2) Zachary Stevens nye album pertama dan suara dia... suara dia untuk Edge Of Thorns tu, aku rasalah takde orang lain boleh nyanyi lagu ni. Jon pun cerita kat packaging ultimate edition, dia cipta lagu ni, tapi lagu ni hanya Zachary Stevens sesuai...

3) Criss Oliva, album ni tujuan untuk letak Criss Oliva kat paling depan ngan permainan gitar nye... Tuan Tanah Blog Berteromber suka la Criss Oliva ni...
Antara paling terhandal la kan Mendiang Criss Oliva ni..
Apa tu ditulis pasal Criss Oliva tak silap oleh producer Savatage ialah - Orang lain bersusah payah prektis main gitar untuk jadi lebih baik, tapi Criss Oliva tak payah, dia memang dah semula jadi gitu...

4) Criss Oliva... mati eksiden lepas album ni dan tour album ni.

5) Dawn Oliva.... isteri Criss. Dikatakan wanita kat sampul depan album ni ialah dia.

6) Dawn Oliva.... dia selamat masa eksiden kereta orang lain mabuk memandu, masuk salah lane bertentangan dan langgar kereta dorang.

7) Dawn Oliva... dia lepas tu ada masalah kemurungan gitu. Last2... dorang jumpa dia mati bunuh diri berapa tahun lepas tu...

Jadi...album ni sangat terbaik setiap lagunye...

dan jugak album ni paling tragik.

Its just that this time its a bit special as the Japanese Pressing of this album deserves a showcase LOL!!!...

From the previous Savatage's Edge Of Thorns Comparisons of the Japanese Pressing (+2 extra songs) and the Ultimate Version found on their 1500 limited Boxset, back to Iron Maiden LOL!!

Three parts,

Firstly, I just got the Classic Rock Magazine October 2015 edition which is the Iron Maiden Collectors Edition.
In total this issue has 17, yes 17 different covers of Eddie.
It features all 16 Studio Eddie covers plus the Live After Death Eddie.
I decided on the Piece Of Mind cover Eddie.

I think for me to collect all 17 is out of question. LOL!!
But I am sure it would be nice to own them all...
Somewhere In Time Eddie was also nice... LOL, so was Killers, so was the X Factor Eddie.
I have not physically touch the rest but the ones I saw are all so pretty...

I have not even unwrapped it yet.
Will show it to those interested on the content and layout soon.

Warning ... Below are all fan-fantasy. LOL!! So maybe better stop here.

Secondly

I was thinking about Iron Maiden. HAHAHA, and that is an understatement of the year.
These are the two things...

Lets get the SAD part out of the way, and then we go to the HAPPY FEELINGS AND DELICIOUSLY HAPPY THOUGHTS!!!!

Firstly, something I have been giving a thought... a horrific thought really LOL!!!

WHY MY HEART IS SAYING IRON MAIDEN WILL NOT PLAY IN SINGAPORE IN 2016 & WORSE NOT COMING AT ALL FOR THE BOOK OF SOUL WORLD TOUR IF THE TOUR IS EXTENDED TO 2017.

This is the reasons my heart is telling myself.

- Iron Maiden says they will play 10 shows in USA & Canada in first two weeks of April 2016.
After that Japan and SHOWS in China.

Lets say they have a few days rest & Travelling time from North America to Asia region even they using their own Jumbo 747 and they play two shows in Japan & two shows in China.

So the last date for USA or Canada will be 14th or 15th of April 2016.
Lets say the first date of Japan will be 18th or 19th April 2016.
and lets say consecutively a second show in Japan will be 20th April. (and I am being conservative, no rest for Iron Maiden in between travelling inside Japan & setting up their as usual spectacular stage and effects).

and then maybe a two days gap before two shows in China lets say 23rd April and 24th April (and I am being conservative here like above),

Maybe its a possibility of a 26th April date for SOUTH EAST ASIA?? before Ed Force One flies to Oceania? But definitely they need to rest, and their support crew need their OFF and REST days even with their own JUMBO 747 plane.
The biggest and definitely FIRST IN HISTORY OF MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT , the MOST DRAMATIC AND AWESOME adventure taken by any entertainment act, be it a band, an artist or whatever, doing a World Tour with their own (leased) JUMBO BOEING 747.

Coming from a band which is basically, hardly without any main-stream radio or mass-media coverage.
-a band that even the MTV PERSONALITY SHARON OSBOURNE SABOTAGE at the most where it matters, when Maiden is at its best, PLAYING LIVE ON STAGE!!!!!.

-A band which survive solely by the support of fans worldwide. I mean, they are selling numerous physical cds and vinyls worldwide in this age by words of mouth and internet-information alone and RULING the POP CHARTS!!!!.

When fans of other bands, music acts or singers are either downloading legally a single, or illegally downloading a whole album,
Iron Maiden fans worldwide are BUYING PHYSICAL CDS AND VINYLS just like in the past and paying Itunes for whole album.
Loyalty and respect for the band at such a high level.

Now on the 29th April Maiden are confirmed in Christchurch New Zealand.
Their last date for Oceania is 14th May in Perth Australia.

On the 18th, Maiden are confirmed in Cape Town South Africa & its announced after South Africa that will be Europe.

SO THERE IS NO WAY TO FIT IN BETWEEN 14th & 18th May either.

So I think Singapore or Indonesia or India or Middle East or Korea, places where Iron Maiden had played before & also a new place like Malaysia, will not get a slot this current tour.

(Maybe Singapore will get Sharon Osbourne's Black Sabbath FINAL WORLD TOUR instead on the same period??)

2017 looks slim, as they already travel Australia and New Zealand for coming 2016 , and I doubt they want to headline Soundwave in 2017 having done a full Oceania tour in 2016.
If that happens then maybe South East Asia and the rest of Asia will get a chance.

This is just a thinking..

I HOPE I AM WRONG... And lets have a wishful thinking Iron Maiden for their coming World Tour to support maybe their best ever album visits Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and even Laos. LOL!!

Anyway, lets forget the negative thoughts, and lets think happy things.

But the above setlist is not going to happen... It seems Empire Of The Clouds will not be played. 18 mins long and it needs a lot of effort and possibly backing tapes to replicate the song live.
Bruce says it will be 4 to 5 songs from the album...
I hope it will be SIX songs...
The Book Of Souls is a very good album and I would like Six Songs to be played and I have the six songs which I think is reasonable to play live.

1.- Opening Track which will be opening song so If Eternity Should Fail will be played.
2.- & "first single" Speed Of Light too is confirmed played as its the "single".
3.- Death Or Glory I think WILL BE PLAYED, due to that short video teaser and this is definitely a nice fast song to play live.
4.- Book Of Soul as the title track should be played, and its DRAMATIC to play live, and Bruce will be definitely be DRAMATIC. Never mind its 10 mins long.

5.- Of course, the best song besides Empire will be played live and its The Red And The Black. 13 mins of Steve Harris Epicness. I cannot get the 9min mark Instrumental section out of my head. One of the best Iron Maiden instrumental solos section since Dance Of Death.
So definitely this song will be played live, and it will be the killer moment of the whole show I think.
6.- I will go for a SIXTH SONG, and I will go for TEARS OF A CLOWN. This song I think have touched a lot of people. Definitely this song is the closest to my heart. This song will have a lot of impact if its played live.

So now to the rest of my predicted setlist.
Lets talk the Pop Hits first.
- Run To The Hills I think will not be played though its been a long time, its difficult for Bruce I think especially the new songs from the new album will not be easy for Bruce to sing live what with all his running and prancing all over the stage, the ramps and the scaffoldings LOL!!..
- I will drop lots of overplayed songs. Especially the Pop Hits.
- To compensate all the dropped Pop Hits, I will go for the song Powerslave with the full fanfare.
- I will retain Fear Of The Dark, as its basically the hugest Pop Hit that fans demand though its overplayed.
- Hallowed Be Thy Name should return, and Iron Maiden will not be dropped. I think The Number Of The Beast have to be maintained. So I have 4 songs confirmed.
- I will take a risk and dropped live favourite The Trooper as its overplayed, and replace it with Flight Of Icarus or Where Eagles Dare.
AND CAN YOU IMAGINE BRUCE WAVING THE UNION JACK IN PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA????
Though I am sure the China Government would be very pleased to have Run To The Hills!! ""White Man Came Across the Sea, HE BROUGHT US PAIN AND MISERY!!!""
- I will take Killers. I would have prefer Infinite Dreams but I can only dream.
- I will take at least two songs from the previous 4 albums with the current definitive 6-men line up.
- So again, taking into consideration no song never played before if that song was not played when its first released - Though if that happens I am sure I will chose Judas Be My Guide, Montsegur or even Alexander The Great or even RUNNING SILENT RUNNING DEEP..
- Time Factor..& Bruce Level of Quality for each show.

This is what I think (MORE OF I FANTASIZE BUT A QUITE REALISTIC FANTASY MAY I ADD) and reasonably realistic setlist will be..

If Eternity Should Fail (using the original spoken-studio version at the start of the song and the band only starts to play live once the whole band kicks in proper and the band ends and the outro spoken words are again using the original studio version backing tape with the stage dimmed. How near the end of the song on the last chorus and Adrian Smith will have his short solos accompanying Bruce ending chorus...that will be a marvel).

Killers (and I hope to see them play live, and I am standing at the Dave Murray side and I am happily snapping away photos like a Groupie and nobody is pushing and acting crazy and I can happy snap nice pretty photos of Maiden in action and Janick comes over to Dave Murray side too... LOL!! yes, a fantasy)
4. Children Of The Damned (Mr Adrian Smith with the double neck please)

Bruce gives a short speech and introduce another new song.

Personally I would have GONE MENTAL ON THE NINEth MINUTE MARK OF THIS SONG. THAT INSTRUMENTAL SECTION IS EATING INTO MY BRAIN. LOL!!!!
I envisage a lots of PYROs and EXPOLOSIONS during the instrumental section of this song and the whole place goes crazy and Steve and Dave and Adrian and Janick line up across stage like during The Trooper and receives the adulation from the crowd)

Sapa baca blog ni tahulah aku minat giler kat MAIDEN UNITED ni. Minat sampai tahap pre-order piring hitam bila keluar je berita mereka tengah rakam album.

Untuk sapa tak kenal sangat, ni band ni terdiri daripada pemuzik2 yang kebanyakkan dari negara BELANDA yang main lagu2 Iron Maiden terutama lagu2 dari era 80an dengan cara acoustic - gitar acoustic, bass acoustic, piano, drum, hammond, violin.

Selalunye dorang berlima tapi kalau dalam album studio ada jemputan orang pompuan nyanyi, pemain violin dan tukar2 pemuzik gitu.
Paling famous di antara mereka semua aku rasa ialah pemain gitar dorang ialah jugak guitarist WITHIN TEMPTATION. Tapi bassist dorang handal, dan penyanyi utama dorang memang TERBAIK. Dan semua posisi pun permainan yang terbaik la, tak kira mereka yang dalam band secara tetap atau pun jemputan.

Lagu2 versi mereka ada yang sangat menyentuh hati, dan kadang2 boleh mendatangkan perasaan sedih dan sayu. Menangis tu takdelah, tapi bergenang2 basah kat kelopak mata tu ada la kalau kena ngan masa kita tengah tangkap feeling.

Jadi REMEMBRANCE ni album ketiga mereka. Macam biasa, AKU SUKA cara MAIDEN UNITED memperterjemahkan ikut selera mereka lagu2 Iron Maiden yang kita semua tahu kepada sesuatu yang sangat unik dan kadang2 tu terus berubah ke sesuatu yang sangat istimewa.

Aku tu hari ada review single pertama dari album ni Strange World. Dan kalau post2 lain aku ada buat pendapat dan ulasan album pertama dan kedua dan foto2 bungkusan dan jugak foto2 cammana bentuk piring hitam mereka untuk album pertama dan kedua.

OK, review tu nanti aku cakap dalam bahasa Omputeh, tapi aku nak cerita sikit, untuk album terbaru ni keluar je berita dah boleh pre-order, so aku terus pre-order dari website mereka pasal dah memang aku suka kan?
So aku pre-order la yang dapat tshirt dan jugak dapat cd single Strange World, dapat free download (versi WAV ok dorang kasi bukan mp3 untuk album ni, dan jugak piring hitam LP.
Tapi dorang ada masalah cetak tekan piring hitam tu ikut apa dorang nak, so mula2 dorang hantar dari Belanda kat aku tshirt, cd single tu semua la, tapi dari email aku tahu ada masalah... Cara dorang email cakap sebenarnye versi LP dah siap, tapi dorang tak mau hantar dan nak cetak balik...
So tunggu je la, padahal album dah release dah lama jugak la kan...

dan ku tunggu dan menunggu...
dan tunggu...
dan tunggu macam buah tak jatuh...
dan tunggu...
dan tunggu lagi.....
aku siap hantar dua tiga email pasal duit dah bayar... HAHA.. lama sangat gitu kan? haha.

Dalam ada postcard ikut artwork Killers intepretasi mereka (Killers ada kat album ni, cuma pakai gitar acoustic dan penyanyi je, dua ni aje...), siap ada mesej beritahu terimakaseh la kerana tunggu untuk yang pre-order, dan jugak dorang pun bengang pasal dorang buat promosi tapi versi piring hitam takde, dan ISTIMEWANYE... dorang kasi satu vinyl cetakan pertama yang tak puaskan hati mereka.
Kira ni memang la ISTIMEWA sangat untuk mereka yang percaya kat kualiti band ni dan pre-order versi piring hitam mereka walaupun tu jam belum dengar lagi....

ON THE INNER SLEEVE OF THIS RELEASE, THERE IS THIS AMAZING ARTWORK OF MAIDEN UNITED'S INTERPRETATION OF A SPITFIRE I BELIEVE..
as they played Aces High on this album.

This is their version on this album... a male+female vocals.

I always like the voice when Wudstik does the singing, although main singer Damian Wilson is excellent.

and this is their superb version of BURNING AMBITION. I LIKE THIS A LOT. Although I think the info provided on the Youtube title is a bit wrong?

And on the above Burning Ambition track, they got ""THUNDERSTICK"" to play drums on this song and nope, what I know at the last minute the ex-GYPSY KISS singer (Gypsy Kiss was STEVE HARRIS' previous band when he was young and before he formed his own band IRON MAIDEN ) did not sing on this version of the song.
Here, BURNING AMBITION was sung by the MAIDEN UNITED Piano Player.

The full line up for this album as on the sleeves is this...

As you can see, KILLERS was completely transformed to just a vocal+acoustic guitar version.

So this is a song with Damian doing lead vocals... Still Life 15, because they had previously recorded Still Life for the Mind The Acoustic Piece album, their first album from few years back..

THE VIOLIN INTRO MAKES ME SO SAD!!!!

NO DAVE MURRAY HERE, just some most BEAUTIFUL Violin.....

Not all bed of roses though, I just want to say something a bit NEGATIVE,
I would have preferred for Maiden United band members and their support to do the vocals for FUTUREAL and PROWLER.
I don't find it any reason to get BLAZE BAILEY (although I really like him) and PAUL DI'ANNO to do vocals on this two songs.
Well....
I hope Maiden United should release future b-sides of these two songs with Damian or Wudstik singing these songs instead.

OK, like I say on the title, something really amazing, at least it is for me.
I had pre-ordered the vinyl version and it was really delayed although Maiden United sent out all the other stuffs early to minimize the dissapointment.
I learn thru email that the vinyl pressings has problems and not up to the Maiden United's standard and quality control.
So it was a big surprise that inside the packaging is a card signed by Ruud and Joey with a message about the delays and their own feelings, and also they have included the vinyl that they would not have sent out in the first place as they want to make a proper vinyl release that they want.

So its something very very special I guess.
I do hope I got to see them play one day... LOL!!!
Yes, pathetic isnt it when you are born in the ass of the world as far as Maiden-related stuffs are concern.

the selection of songs, the pacing is amazing.. and that ROTAM tease at the end of the exhausting first song, and continue to the most dramatic HORRIFYING TERRIFYING version of The Trooper ever... and continue to a heart-wrenching rendition of Revelations.

I hope Maiden uniteD continue to re-interpret and re-create Iron Maiden songs to something special like the 3 albums and also some b-sides they already have released.

Last But Not Least,

I am collecting some latest magazines especially these few months that features Iron Maiden members or themes on the covers and which contents carry full-scale information, news and reports on the new Iron Maiden album, The Book Of Soul.
These are some I have got my hands on so far.....

Kerrang has a very nice cover.. and its actually has Bruce on the outside plastic cover with the cartoon artwork inside.
Classic Rock has the amazing 17, yes... 17 different cover artworks, and I had choosen Piece Of Mind, and then I saw Somewhere In Time and I was like got the urge to buy another one LOL!!!.
Metal Hammer, yes, the amazing magazine comes in a box, WHICH IS A GATEFOLD by itself LOL!!!..
RHYTHM Magazine, how can I resist a full special on Nicko McBrain to celebrate his drumming, his works, and his stories on the recordings of The Book Of Soul...

I will share more, maybe I try to take each page photo so those who cannot get these magazines can enjoy them too...

NASIK AMBENG!!!!!!!!!!!

Apa khabar semua?

Nari aku nak cerita dan tunjuk gambar kat korang PASAL MAKAN.

dan pasal laksa.

So aku kan, resmi aku, kalau aku nak naik bas ekpress aku akan makan kenyang2, pasal dalam bas ekpress bila aku dah kenyang tambah ngantuk, aku akan membuta the whole journey selalunye.

So either way - aku kalau balik Malaysia, atau balik Singapore, mesti makan kenyang2 sebelum naik bas. Then selalunye aku dapat la tidur 3 Jam gitu hingga sampai destinasi aku.
Sometimes tidur mati ok...tapi dah season kot aku ni regular naik bas ekpress, so boleh tersedar bila dah nak sampai...

Tapi kalau aku balik Malaysia dan nak2 memang lepas aku kerja shift malam, selalunya aku dah la ngantok kan? dan aku pun dah kat Terminal Bas Larkin lepas beli tiket bas ekpress nak naik bas selalunye aku tak terus beli bas yang nak bergerak, aku akan beli ada TIME GAP sikit, jadi aku boleh sempat gi makan, and then run some errands la beli tu beli ni berbelanja sikit
,
so aku memang tukar2 menu la breakfast. Antara yang kadang2 aku tukar menu tu ialah makan Nasi Ambeng kat pusat penjaja bas Larkin yang tingkat tiga tu..

Ni contoh dari dua gerai pusat penjaja yang jualan nasik ambeng, roughly harga nye sekali.

Gerai pertama...

Banyak kan? Hebat ok kalau dah kebulur, dah penat kerja, perut kosong....ngantuk lagik.
Dah macam mentehkedarah gitu kan makan gini pagi2 buta? tapi selalunye aku makan gini pasal aku baru lepas kerja malam pe, kira last kopek nye shift untuk cycle tersebut soo...... kebulur la jawab nye.
From this photo, korang tahu la kan aku ni jenis LAPAR NASIK. Taruk la lauk makanan betapa sedap dari mana2 restoran ke, mana2 chef ke, makanan hebat mee ke, pizza ke, aku tetap carik nasik puteh ngan tak kesah la betapa simple pun lawannye,

Anyway sambung pasal nasik ambeng yang foto ni...
Ada trick dia ok....kena play safe.
So aku rasa PLAY SAFE, suruh gerai nye staff ambikkan aku. Paham? Aku tak scoop sendiri.
They know better kan? pasal Kalau scoop sendiri aku takut harga melambung2 hehehee.
So cam foto atas ni aku cakap aku nak "NASIK AMBENG DAGING".

Aku pernah makan kat satu gerai nasik campur, makcik tu charge aku lebih kot? dia cakap "tadi saya tengok awak ambik lauk lebih". Ye eleh.. kira kalau aku terscoop apa lauk dua sudu ke hapa ke dia charge lebih? SEKALI JE AKU MAKAN KAT KEDAI MAKCIK NAK CEPAT KAYA TU!! haha.
Eh Eh, ni kedai lain ok, bukan kedai atas.

So dari foto atas tu, akan dapat, nasik, ikan kering, rendang daging, sambal goreng/soo hoon gitu, dan mee goreng yang very spicy gitu untuk lawankan ngan nasik putih.
Harga about 5RM.

So macam foto atas aku mintak tambah bagedel and tempeh.
So its about 6.50-7RM.

Korang jangan quote aku ok?? Ye la orang meniaga mana ada harga constant sangat kan? So maybe bila korang makan lebih murah atau lebih mahal.

Tapi aku serious cakap meal atas ni...kekenyangan.

OK Gerai kedua. Ni kat belakang...

Yang ni confirm tak boleh ambik sendiri, pasal lauk2 dorang kat belakang.

OK so aku mintak NASIK AMBENG AYAM kot? Dari foto ni cam Ayam je haha.

Aku selalu ambik foto makanan kalau line clear la, pasal kalau ramai orang, atau ada orang perasan, nanti aku kena chop Jakun lak.

So yang ini, dapat nasik, rendang ayam, mee goreng, ikan kering dan yang kanan tu sambal goreng ngan soo hoon gitu.
About 4RM kot?

So aku mintak tambah Sambal goreng lagi satu style yang kat kanan tu...
So I think all in all maybe 5RM? or 6RM?

OK korang lagi sekali aku cakap jangan quote aku lak, ingat2 lupa la harga.

So ok la, dua2 sedap, dan memang perut kenyang and cam korang nampak, extra effort kan ngan daun pisang semua...

Actually ada gerai2 lain jual nasik ambeng, actually yang kat gerai2 tingkat satu pun ada Nasik Ambeng. Aku takde foto contoh je...
Gerai yang dah siap2 bungkus tu, kat ngan area teksi pak wan cha masuk Singapore tu.

Actually gerai tu la yang aku cakap, kalau korang beli lemang kat mana2 gerai pun, tapi aku akan beli rendang daging kat gerai tu. Kira timbang pakai elektroniks ok rendang daging dia. Takde agak2.

Ok So switch to something to Singapore lak...

Laksa kat one of the gerai kat salah satu tempat2 makan di Geylang Serai. Ni kat pusat penjaja yang kat belakang Maybank tu. Korang tahu kan mana satu aku cakap?
Pagi dah start stall jual Laksa ni...
